So the drought continues up in Seeb and beyond, with little to no water pressure available to most people living there. The desalination plants in Barka are running, so I don't think it is a problem with the supply, and so must be a case of the upgrading works that are being installed at the moment which has caused the shortage.
People are struggling to even get water trucks as they're busy fulfilling their existing Contracts and there isn't much spare capacity to cater to such a large area with people calling for a tank fill up.
Does anyone have any more information on this? If a Contractor is upgrading pumps / pipes, why has no temporary over-pumping (pumps laid on the ground to transfer the water) been put in place?
